Ingredients
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 1 lb cooked and crumbled bacon or sausage (or a mix)
- 1 pkg shredded hashbrowns
- ½ cup chopped onion
- ½ cup chopped pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- salt & pepper to taste
Directions
In a 9x3 greased baking pan, roll out crescent roll dough to cover bottom.
Top with cooked meat.
Next layer on shredded hashbrowns, chopped onion, chopped pepper, and 1½ cups shredded cheese.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and salt & pepper.
Pour over pan & top with ½ cup cheese.
Bake at 400°F 50—60min or until knife comes out clean.
Let stand 10 min before serving.
Notes
You can make this recipe without the crescent roll dough. You can also assemble and refrigerate overnight, but this will add to your cooking time.
