Saute onion, celery, carrots, and garlic in butter until softened (5 — 7 mins).

Add chicken, cream of chicken, milk, chicken broth, and salt & pepper. Bring to gentle simmer.

Cut biscuits into quarters and toss in flour. Drop evenly into soup, gently pressing down below broth. Cover and simmer 10 mins.

Remove lid, stir gently & make sure dumplings are fully cooked.

Turn off heat and let rest 5 — 10 mins allowing broth to thicken.
