Chop Suey Ala Humbracht

Cut into tiny pieces: ½ lb. pork (2 pork steaks) and ½ lb. beef (from roast or steaks).
Brown meat and add:
¾ cup finely chopped celery
¾ cup minced onion
1 cup or more water
Cover and simmer about ½ hour. Add water as needed.
Add:
1 can drained bean sprouts
4 tbsp. Bead molasses
4 tbsp. soy sauce
Mix well and simmer another ½ hour and thicken with flour paste.
Serve over white rice and top with chow mein dry noodles.
