Ingredients
- 2 lg green apples
- 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon, divided
- 2 (8 oz) cans crescent rolls
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup mountain dew (or apple cider)

Directions
Preheat oven 350°F.
Grease 9x13 baking dish.
Peel, core, and slice each apple into 8 pieces (16 Slices total).
Sprinkle 1 Tbsp cinnamon on apples, then roll one slice in each crescent piece.
Place in prepared baking dish.
In a small pot bring butter, remaining cinnamon, and both sugars to a boil, stirring. Once sugars are melted, pour evenly over the crescent rolls.
Pour mountain dew around edges of pan.
Bake 40 — 45 mins until browned and bubbly.
Serve hot with vanilla ice cream or cool whip.
